Me…

Story-line by Ruby edited by Lacey

This story is all about us and how we would both handle things…

Hi, my name is Ruby! Lacey and I make a great team, I don’t know what she thinks but I want to one day publish these stories! I am only 10 years old, so my punctuation might be, let's say a bit off. But who cares! To me, stories are about the story! Not punctuation. Some people disagree but I like it my way. This is a story based on a fictional character, but this character has my mind… Hi, I'm Lacey and I agree with us being a great team because we are! I'm ten but still when I'm writing books my punctuation is also a bit off. I create books a lot and my stories are based on what I'm feeling or the things around me. Ruby used to start off books and I was to add to her stories. But one day I wrote a book myself based on what I was feeling and guess what? You: What? I wrote 4 books that day and the day after! Yep! So I was on a rush!

I’m walking on the streets after school. On my way home, I have a few dollars in my bag. I see a person on the streets, my friends say he is faking being poor. But I don’t think he’s faking! So just before the green light goes I grab money out of my bag and quickly hand it to him. He looks up, gratefully and smiles. I walk across the streets as the lights go beep beep beep beep. After I got home my daddy took me to the park. He walked a few laps of the park as I played on the monkey bars. I saw a girl around my age, she looked kind! I wanted to be her friend. But I’m shy… So I waited for the right moment. But it never came to me… Soon my daddy came to take me home. You see, I’m not good at talking to people I've never met. So I usually wait for them to do something. But when I’m really desperate I go for it. But I am usually REALLY shy. One time I saw a girl at the park. She looked 1 year younger than me. And she looked Taiwanese. Then when I was on the exercise equipment she walked to me and said “do you speak Chinese?’’ “Yes,” I replied. And in the end she became one of my friends… I guess she isn’t shy about making friends… I remember in kindergarten one day I was lonely and wanted a friend. So I went to the cubby where 5 girls were playing, their names were Lacey, Nataya, Sophie, Valentina, and Maddy. I walked up to the cubby and said “can I come in?” Nataya the fat, chubby one who BTW is always lying (once she said she was born in 2011 and 2013 at the same time!) said “ No! You can’t come in! You don’t have long hair!” Sad and miserable I walked to play puzzles on my own. There were a bunch of annoying boys who wrecked my puzzles. Then when they left. Lacey came in and played puzzles with me. And we were friends from that very day onward. Can you imagine what my life is like? If you would like me to make a story like this about you!
