Eventually she would be free and would be able to roam the earth like a beautiful star, and would live like nobody else had... Just like she wished...

She Writes By The Sea...

A mysterious girl, so beautiful... She had wavy blonde hair, and had healthy tanned skin. Everyday, at the same time, she would come by and sit at the shore of the ocean. Where the water just slightly touches her feet, she would bring her notebook and pencil and stare deep into the ocean. She was young and graceful, and everyday a young boy would watch her write by the sea. She would come back everyday at the exact same time... And leave at the exact same time, almost as if she were waiting for someone...
The girl's point of view...

Everyday, I wait. Everyday I must wait... Waiting for father to come home... He never did, but I still know. I know who he is, I still remember. Memories rather flash back than catch my eye in view, I don't remember... But I'll know when I see him... Everyday, I go and sit by the sea... Hoping that someday he shall return, I write in my notebook, draw... Hoping that one day when my father returns he shall know I love him. Because I write about him and draw what I think he looks like. To show I love him...

The boy's point of view...

Once again... Like everyday, I watch the girl that writes by the sea. Hoping that one day we could know each other, maybe she'll finally tell me why she writes by the sea... Maybe one day we'll be friends and we'll write by the sea together...

Narrator

I see a boy that watches me everyday...
I smell the salty ocean that makes me yearn for home...
I feel the soft sand I lay on each day...
I know that one day he'll come home...

I see the girl that writes by the sea...
I smell the plants and trees...
I feel the way the girl feels... Tired and alone...
I know that someday we can be friends...

Once....

Once upon a time, there lived a princess... Named Iris. She was graceful, yes. But always such a brat, she was beautiful, she had long wavy brown hair and always had the plaits a princess should have. Beautiful Iris coloured eyes that always sparkled even in the darkest moments. She always wore a dress, the puffiest biggest dress there was. Even without any special reason. She would wear rainbow! Pink sparkles! And butterflies! Yes, she was centre of attention. And was obviously gifted the gift of beauty and grace. But not kindness or appreciation. She always insisted on her hair getting curled in the mornings as in the mornings her hair is as start as a cat's tail when frightened. As she grew up her interests changed she became Aesthetic. She loved the colour beige and always had her hair oh so neat. She played sports, and was a very fast runner. She was very very popular but her behaviour never changed, she was yes... Only just spoilt.... She demanded pretty and expensive Gucci dresses. Everyone thought she was rather beautiful. One day, as Iris was frolicking in freshly mowed grass in front of her palace, she spotted a BOY... She pranced closer and closer to the boy. Pretending she didn't see him. Then as she was going to "accidentally" bump into him she plopped into a pool of mud ruining her best Gucci dress. She wailed and cried for the guards to pick her up. The boy stared at her with a disgusted look, and tiptoed away in embarrassment. Leaving Iris to cry in the mud. Which caused Iris to wail even more. The guards picked her up and carried her inside for a bath. But now she was permanently scarred, and her dress had a stain that never came off...

No pocket sized dragon but a HUGE monstrous beast. A fire breathing dragon, with wings the size of apartments and teeth so huge they were a metre long! The boy however backed down.He thought ;How can I, a dumpster boy fight a dragon even the fiercest warrior could never get close to?; So the boy returned home, his dreams shattered.

After years of training and hard work the man who was all grown up was walking towards the dragon's den. It was massive but the boy knew that he was no puny boy he was a warrior... The kingdom watched as he walked up to the den and dropped his sword. The dragon was wounded. He had been hit by others and spears. Lucas (the boy)looked at the dragon. He wrapped up his wounds and pressed his against the dragon's. He understood. The dragon was no monster, she was alone. She had crushed eggs and no papa dragon. So Lucas decided to hangout with her. They ate ice cream and played together.

Mr Sloth and the three pigs

(Inspired by Goldilocks and the three bears by Robert Southey) *!!DO NOT SUE!!* (we are 11!)

A long time ago lived a sloth. He was quite fast for a sloth but was very nosy. He would poke around everyone's tree and everyone's den. One day he waddled across a den with so much mud. He knew that is must belong to a pig. At the front he saw three different-sized footprints. One small set of hooves and one medium set of hooves and one large set of hooves. A family of pigs. The sloth was nosy so he slowly walked inside. He came across leaf sofas. One small, one medium and one big. He tried the big couch, TOO BIG! He tried the medium couch, too big again. Lastly he tried the smallest leaf couch, just right. He waddled some more and came across a table. 3 bowls of corn soup. Again 1 large, one medium and one small. He tried the large, too hot! He tried the medium soup, too cold! Lastly he tried the small soup, just right. He walked further into the den and found 3 wool beds. Again, 1 large, 1 medium and 1 small. He tried the large, TOO HARD! He tried the medium bed, TOO SOFT. The last bed was the small bed with a tiny teddy bear, just right. It was so just right in fact that Mr.Sloth fell asleep! When the pigs came home they were furious to see a sloth sleeping in the piglets bed. They woke Mr. Sloth up and Mr. Sloth was so scared to see the big pigs right in front of his eyes. Mr.Sloth ran as fast as sloth POSSIBLE! (which is quite slow). Mr. Sloth never poked in anyone's business again.
THE END!

My Match

By Yeva check out more of her books on this website!

It was the final round of the match, and it looked like we were going to lose…

We would need 202 points to win, that's 3 kicks that's impossible! The scores are 100 to 300 the dictator is yelling, there's no way they'd win. We hear the crowd muttering hey we'll win no they won’t, and a bunch of screaming. We asked for time out and huddled up. We had a strategy. The trio pointed, 10 seconds left on the clock and the scores were now 300 to 300 and 1 second left I recklessly scored, and it was now 402 to 300 the referee blew the whistle we won !!!

The Last Rose

A very long time ago the village was filled with joy and laughter. So many people played and danced. Bushes of roses surrounded their little village. It was extremely rude to pick a rose. The town newspaper boy clearly didn't care. He picked one flower for his best friend, one flower for his mum, one flower for his dad and 23 flowers for him. He put them in a little water and then rested them beside his bed. The roses died so he went back to get some more. The rose wall shrunk and so did everyone's happiness in town. No one knew it was the boy. 1 month later and the last rose was picked. The only thing left was a prickly wall. The spikes still spiked the skin of those who came, instead of a welcoming aroma of roses. Now the dead bush surrounds the small town and no roses grow. The moral of this story is to not take something that isn't yours and to not be selfish even if you give somebody a small amount.
