My past life

Introduction

My past life was as hard as climbing Cliff Rocks. In fact , it was my dream. It was really hard but I achieved something I knew I would never forget. I have here every detail on what it was like being a small, little Jenson….

Past life 2-4 years old

As a Jenson my responsibilities were set high. I had to be able to cook a proper steak by age 4. I had to impress tons of people just to have my parents proud. I was a single child so I had to do everything, I didn't have to share responsibilities. My parents never listened or cared about my dreams. I couldn't talk to anyone about it… My dream was to climb Cliff Rocks. But people said it was too hard or I would die of frost bites, starvation or fall from a high place. But I knew I could do it. So I went on hikes and climbed 4 big hiking mountains in 6 days, I knew I could do it..

Past life 4-6 years old

I knew that the older I got the more challenges I would have to face. I went on more and more hikes until I had built up the courage to ask my parents to take me to the bottom of Cliff Rocks. I had to beg them for hours to let me go. So they flew me over in a helicopter and the last thing they said to me was… " Maverick. You better not die or our family will lose it's reputation! I mean leaving a kid at the bottom of a mountain, come'on!" Then they flew away. I knew that I either had to live and reach the top or die and never reach the top. I tried climbing. I tried so hard. But in the end I had ran out of food and the snow was getting too thick, I could barely see. I had to write an S.O.S letter to my parents. They came like the flash, *ZOOOM* *WHOOSH*. When they arrived they kept on asking me if I was hurt and stuff like that. It was so annoying. My parents said that they would never let me up on a mountain again!

Past life 6-10 years old

I still went out but my excuse was that I was going shopping for new clothes. But really I was climbing a mountain. I knew that soon they would be bound to find out. I tried to keep it a secret. One terrible stormy day I climbed a mountain that was steep and wet, I slipped and nearly fell to my perishment. But I was so tired and wet that when I changed I didn't go out and buy more clothes like I said I would, I had forgotten! My parents kept on asking me questions like… What were you doing? Why is there mud on your cheek?. They were really annoying, but I had to tell them the truth.. I got in big trouble and I could only play in our yard. I started to dig in my digging area and I found a mysterious bottle. Inside it had a note, I couldn't read what it said it was in some sort of different language. I went to the library to try and figure out what language it was. I found out that it was latin and I studied each word. It read:

Date: 22/12/212

Quaeso reperies..

Which means….

Whoever finds this scroll is the chosen one. You need to find the pearl necklace. You can tell no one about this scroll, if you do not, hope will perish. You will need to find it before this date: 24/9/2326. If not, no one will be able to find a hidden treasure located in a sacred shrine. Please find it …

I knew that I had to find it. I searched my entire garden and nothing, nothing at all… It put everything back and then searched everywhere. I went to the bottom of Cliff Rocks. I dug so deep until I found an old silver case, surrounded in latin markings. " Pearl... Shrine…" It all made sense. THE PEARL NECKLACE WAS IN THE CASE! I tried opening it but it wouldn't budge. I looked in the jug where I found the scroll and there was a little key. I tried to grab it but my hand wouldn't fit. I had to risk pouring it out in the rough snow. The wind blew as I poured out the miniature key. The case finally unlocked and I saw the pearl necklace.

The treasure… 10 - 14 years old

I wanted to find this "mystical" shrine. If it even existed! I didn't know if it was all a lie or not. I asked my parents to fly me over to EVERY SINGLE shrine in the world! They agreed and just thought I wanted a beautiful holiday. I searched every single shrine that my parents sent me to. And nothing. I went back to the library and did some research. This is what I found.. I found out that the mystical shrine is somewhere just past Cliff Rocks. So I set out on an adventure to find it. I had to go around Cliff Rocks but I eventually found it. I was just about to search after drinking some freezing cold water when… MY PARENTS CAME RUNNING UP TO ME ASKING SCOLDING ME!!! I never got to unlock that treasure.

The present… Now.

I went back to find that treasure when I moved out but the shrine was gone. I hope someone can find it soon. I donated the pearl necklace to see if anyone else wanted to do something amazing. I hope I can go on another adventure soon. - Maverick Jenson
